These are the Best Brunch Spots near Times Square

  1. 01

Enjoy the All-Day Breakfast at Ellen’s Stardust Diner

    American Restaurant in Theatre District

    Ellens_Stardust_Diner_180215103843009

The Ellen’s Stardust Diner is especially well known among the visitors of the city. The highlight at Ellen’s Stardust Diner are the waiters who once were musical stars on Broadway. So if you like music of any kind and enjoy it most during a live performance with pancakes, milkshakes and burgers, then Ellen’s Stardust Diner is the place to be. Here you will find the perfect mix of milkshakes and musicals very close to the world-famous Times Square in New York.

My tip: Try the buttermilk pancakes or the breakfast burger and order one of the delicious mimosas!

  2. 02

Visit La Grande Boucherie for a Great Brunch Experience

    French Restaurant in Theatre District

    230707090300001

Consistently named as one of the best Theater District restaurants, La Grande Boucherie is another French dining destination with the vibe of a classic steakhouse. With ample seating, the timeless bistro food along with seafood and dry-aged steaks are sure to indulge your palate. Be sure to grab something off the extensive drinks menu, particularly one of the absinthe-fueled cocktails.

Their Eggs Norwegian come with an English muffin, smoked salmon and sauce hollandaise and they’re absolutely delicious! For vegetarians I can recommend the vegetarian sandwich! Whatever you decide to order: you will definitely enjoy the brunch menu.

  3. 03

    Tony’s Di Napoli

    Italian Restaurant in Theatre District

    200227115753001

A lot like Carmine’s is Tony’s Di Napoli. Thanks to the friendly and cordial staff, we felt like we were in an extended Italian family. Pleasant atmosphere & hustle and bustle do it by the way. The portions are also large here, so that they are perfect for sharing. My tip: try the Frozen Peach Bellini as an aperitif!

  4. 04

    Haven Rooftop & Restaurant

    Rooftop Bar in Theatre District

    Haven_Rooftop_Bar_New_York_02

In the heart of the Theatre District on Times Square you will find the Haven Rooftop & Restaurant. It is on the 10th floor of the Sanctuary Hotel at 47th Street between 6th and 7th Avenue and offers you a sensational perspective. Although it is in Times Square, it is surprisingly quiet. I love the mix of “being in the middle of the city” and “still having peace and quiet” – and that’s exactly what you can expect there.

  5. 05

    Rosevale Kitchen

    American Restaurant in Theatre District

In the Civilian Hotel in the Theater District, you’ll find Rosevale Kitchen on the first floor of this two-story establishment. Start at the Cocktail Room above or delve right into the kitchen for American fare with an elevated flair. The sommelier-curated wine list will surely pair perfectly with  your meal. With a setting akin to a Rockwell painting, it’s playful yet upscale all at once. Don’t miss the Caesar salad with a creamy, indulgent dressing. The orange duck and the blackened sea bass are other often raved about choices that will leave you with no regrets.

  6. 06

The Terrace is a great Brunch Spot in New York City

    Other Restaurants in Theatre District

    230706093549001

For something that is both casual and elegant, look no further than the Terrace and Outdoor Gardens in the Edition Times Square Hotel. This French brasserie-inspired Theater District restaurant is a true gem with a bounty of homemade pastas like the broccoli cacio e pepe. Choose from steaks and chops for meat lovers, or indulge in the vegan carrot Bolognese.

If you’re a brunch enthusiast you should visit The Terrace on the weekends. They offer some of the best brunch dishes in New York City! The brunch menu includes classical dishes like avocado toast but if you like it a little more exciting I recommend you to try the Lobster Soft Scramble. For those of you with a sweet tooth: try the Crème Brulée French Toast!

  7. 07

    The Lamb’s Club

    American Restaurant in Theatre District

New Yorkers know The Lamb Club for its historied past and distinctive decor. Inside, a roaring fireplace and red and black seating whispers of its past as an exclusive supper club. Outside, the stark white walls and red sign that’s been there since Broadway’s earliest days is instantly recognizable.

Amidst this clubby setting, is one of the best jazz brunch spots in New York City. The extensive menu has a full selection of traditional American fare like omelets, pancakes, avocado toast, and pastries if you like a classic brunch. There’s also oysters and caviar for when you’re in the mood for seafood. And a full bar means Bloody Marys, mimosas, and other cocktails are always on hand.

While sipping on your Bloody Mary, expect smooth tunes from a jazz trio that plays Sundays and Saturdays between 11:30AM and 2:00PM when the brunch is served. Reservations recommended.

    Our Highlight

Even if the name doesn’t suggest it, the diner is really close to Times Square! The Brooklyn Diner is a diner like it is in a book: both from the outside and the inside. Try the pastrami or the French toast.

  9. 09

Visit Majestic Delicatessen to get a Breakfast all day

    American Restaurant in Theatre District

    Pastrami_200227195025001

Reuben Sandwich with corned beef, cheese and sauerkraut. Classic New York dish

This Deli is convincing, because it offers a very fair price despite its top location directly at the famous Times Square. Among other things, there are sandwiches, omelettes, burgers and chips. Often you can order combos that will definitely fill you up!

  10. 10

    Lillie’s Victorian Establishment

    American Restaurant in Theatre District

There’s something indescribably spooky about the Victorian era. The setting for so many of our Halloween classics, from Frankenstein to Dracula and more, this is one area that made the ghoulish traditions we have today really come alive.

That’s what makes Lillie’s Victorian Establishment such a great addition as a NYC Halloween theme restaurant. Created in honor of British actress Lillie Langtry, the restaurant is full of Victorian details like ornate wood carvings, an antique marble bar, and period-specific furnishings.

With menus for brunch and dinner and a long list of wines, beers, and cocktails available at both Union Square and Times Square, Lillie’s Victorian Establishment will make your Halloween weekend a special one.
