Following a two-year delay caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Japan Day was reintroduced in 2022 under the names Japan Parade and Japan Street Fair. The parade took a southbound route along Central Park West, commencing at West 81st Street and concluding at West 67th Street. Concurrently, the street fair occurred on 69th Street, situated between Central Park West and Columbus Avenue.
