I often get asked whether the SUMMIT One Vanderbilt observation deck is included in the New York Pass – or in any of the many other sightseeing passes for New York. In this post, I’ll give you the answer to that question and reveal whether the offer is really worth it!
What is the New York Pass?
The New York Pass is one of the best sightseeing passes for New York. With it, you can choose from over 100 attractions and easily save 30-60% compared to buying individual tickets.
It is available for 1 to 10 days. During this time, you can visit as many sights and tours as you want. The most popular variant is the 5-day pass followed by the 3-day pass. You can see exactly how it works in my article about the New York Pass.
What is One Vanderbilt in New York?
The SUMMIT One Vanderbilt is the newest observation platform in New York, which has been open for visits since 2022. It is located in Midtown Manhattan, right next to Grand Central Terminal, and is my personal favorite platform in New York.

Is the SUMMIT One Vanderbilt included in the New York Pass?
As of now, the observation deck is not included in any of the many attraction passes, not even the New York Pass. It is simply too new.
The ticket provider Tiqets has now released a combination ticket that includes both the New York Pass and tickets for One Vanderbilt.
Is the combination of the New York Pass + Vanderbilt Ticket from Tiqets worth it?
To find out, I first looked at the prices listed for the New York Pass.
The prices set for the combo ticket exactly match the prices from the official website NewYorkPass.com when you use my discount code NYP5LOVING:
As you can see, you don’t save anything here.
So, I then looked at the prices for the tickets for the SUMMIT One Vanderbilt. The ticket costs at:
- Tiqets.com: $54
- GetYourGuide.com: $59
- Viator.com: $52
- SummitOV.com (official site): $52
Even the second component of the combo ticket is not the cheapest option.
Does it add up?
Tiqets: New York Pass + One Vanderbilt Ticket
The idea of Tiqets to combine these two popular tickets is great. But unfortunately, there are no savings with it. Therefore, the answer is: No. The combo ticket of the New York Pass and the Vanderbilt platform is not worth it.
