One of the newest summer festivals in NYC is the Music & Dance Festival on Little Island (this little park on Pier 55 in the Hudson River is one of my insider tips for New York and always worth a visit).
Their Music & Dance Festival will be held for the 2nd time in 2022 and you can experience various New York artists from July 20 to July 31, 2022 (always from Wednesday to Sunday). Styles include hip hop, jazz, soul, blues and Broadway specials.

What can you do after your visit?
If you’ve visited the Music and Dance Festival on Little Island, be sure to explore the rest of the park. From Northern Viewpoint, you’ll have a fantastic view of the Hudson River southward with the Lower Manhattan skyline.
Afterwards you should either explore the High Line or go next door to the new Rooftop Pier 57 – or finish the evening in one of the many bars and restaurants in the Meatpacking District!
