Brunch with a view NYC – My 11 Favorite Spots

Just one word of caution: you’re not allowed to get mad at us if after reading this article you wish you’d booked a longer trip. (And fortunately for you, we even found an option that serves brunch with a view during the week, too.)

  1. 01

Brunch with a view in NYC at 230 Fifth

    Rooftop Bar in Midtown Manhattan

    230Fifth

When you bill yourself as “New York’s largest indoor and outdoor bar,” it can take a lot to live up to that reputation. Fortunately, this chic penthouse with a view of the Empire State Building does just that – with a great brunch menu and atmosphere, too.

Featuring a rooftop garden and live music, you can stop by on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am – 4pm to enjoy their Bottomless Brunch. At $45 per guest for a 90-minute seating, you’ll enjoy an entrée (Breakfast Burrito, Huevos Rancheros, Avocado Toast, Banana Pancakes) along with bottomless mimosas, bellinis, and coffee.

Fortunately, the great food served at the Refinery Rooftop will help you there. With breakfast and brunch staples like fresh-made doughnuts and waffles, French toast, and the must-try Crab Cake Eggs Benedict, you have plenty of great options to pair with the cocktail of your choice.

Open 7 days a week, you can stop by on Saturday and Sunday for brunch starting at 11:30am.

    Rooftop Bar in Chelsea

    Gallow_Green_NYC_Rooftop_Bar_191003174859010

Located inside the beautifully appointed McKittrick Hotel, the Gallow Green is more about finding those secret garden vibes on a city rooftop. Though the views may not be as jaw-dropping as some of the other spots, there is something much more charming about the luscious setting of this chic restaurant.

With the buffet setup, brunch at Gallow Green is a relaxed affair. Eat at your leisure with food made to order, including an omelet and waffle station. Then if your brunch is turning more into a leisurely lunch, wander over to the bar area for wine, beer, or a cocktail.

The Gallow Green Rooftop Brunch happens every Sunday from 11am to 4pm.

  4. 04

Choose from popular items like the Tower of Tuna Tartare, the Farmers Market Omelet, and Brunch Pizza. Want to add a cocktail? You’ll also have the choice to add on an hour of bottomless brunch cocktails, too.

Enjoy an intoxicating mix of the City Of Lights and City That Never Sleeps with Hotel Chantelle’s Parisian-inspired rooftop with views of Downtown Manhattan.

More than just views you can drink in, the brunch menu at Hotel Chantelle is a treat, too. For $35, you’ll enjoy a Bottomless Brunch that gets a brunch classic (like Avocado Toast, Spanish Baked Eggs, or Stuffed French Toast) along with an hour of brunch cocktail (like Mimosas, Bellinis, and Bloody Marys).

Stop by on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am – 4:30pm.

  6. 06

    French Restaurant in Williamsburg

If you’re looking for brunch with a view NYC and you don’t want to wait till the weekend, Juliette’s got you covered. This sweet bistro features outdoor seating on its rooftop as well as garden and sidewalk dining.

While the view may not make your jaw hit the floor like some of the best Manhattan rooftop brunch options, it’s the atmosphere here that sets Juliette apart. The lush, shaded setting has a charm all its own, one that pairs deliciously an always-on brunch menu that includes French classics (Croque Monsieur, Gratinéed French Onion Soup, Duck Confit) with brunch cocktails (Micheladas, Bloody Caesar).

For a weekday brunch at Juliette, stop by Monday through Friday from 12pm – 4pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, brunch is served from 10am to 4pm.

For an all-season appropriate brunch with unbeatable views, Upstairs at the Kimberly is an ideal option. Featuring iconic glimpses of Midtown Manhattan & the Chrysler Building, it almost doesn’t seem fair that their food should be this good, too.

With a brunch menu that spans eggs (including multiple takes on Eggs Benedict), sweets (Blueberry Pancakes and Buttermilk Waffles), and Savory (the Brunch Pizza and Kobe Burger), you’re sure to find something to satisfy everyone in your group. Feel like making it a Boozy Brunch? Pair with one of their signature cocktails (like the Chrysler or the Cilantro Sol).

Stop by on Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm – 4pm.

Open at 11:30am on Saturday and Sunday for brunch, you’ll have a menu full of mouthwatering options to choose from. Choosing between the Lobster & Avocado Toast and the White Truffle Cheddar Bacon Sausage Sandwich? Good luck. Not sure if your Boozy Brunch Cocktail of choice should be a Versa Bloody or a Michelada? Come thirsty!

    Rooftop Bar in Meatpacking District

    CATCH_Roof_New_York_Meatpacking_District_03

The rooftop brunch at Catch is one of the more dynamic brunch offerings in the city. There are egg options (Croque Madame, Shakshuka) and sweet options (Cinnamon Roll Pancakes, the Anytime Waffle Tower), but it’s the rolls (Wagyu Surf and Turf Roll, MRC Roll) and Asian-inspired seafood plates (King Crab Hand Rolls, Caviar-Capped Truffle Sashimi, Wasabi-Spiked Toro Tartare) that make this such a satisfying spot.

For those looking to get a headstart on brunch, Catch is open on Fridays, too. Stop by Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 11:30am to 3:30pm to enjoy.
